Your competitors are already deploying AI agents in Salesforce

Most companies are still in a meeting about whether to start.

But here’s what nobody talks about: most companies are stuck at the pilot stage. They ran a chatbot POC in 2023-24, called it “AI”, and moved on. Meanwhile, others are running agents in production and pulling ahead.

The difference isn’t budget. It’s three things:

  1. Data first. AI agents don’t work on messy, fragmented data. Clean your house before you invite guests.
  2. Define the handoff. Know exactly where the agent stops and the human starts. Ambiguity here kills adoption.
  3. Measure outcomes, not activity. “The agent is deployed” is not a result. “Cost per support case dropped 40%” is.

The question for your business isn’t if you deploy AI agents in Salesforce. It’s how much runway you’re giving your competitors while you wait.
